Benny and the blind man
Down on the drag
Got a little tight
Half in the bag
Left the dogs behind
Left the dogs to beg
Moving in a trance
Rusty had the Jake leg
Rusty had the Jake leg
He couldn’t dance
You, forgotten Man
What if you had to dance
What if you had a witness
What if you had to dance
What if you had to dance
The deal goes down, the cold wind blows
Walking in shadows, no one knows
Walking in shadows
Benny took a bullet
By daybreak he was gone
The blind man slipped away
In to that silent dawn
They left a few good men
Left a few to beg
Begging for one last chance
Rusty had the Jake leg
Rusty had the Jake leg
He couldn’t dance
You, forgotten man
What if you had to dance
What if you had a witness
What if you had to dance
The deal went down, the cold wind blew
Walking in shadows, no one knew
Walking in shadows
